MEASURING GUIDE

It's important to get the measurments for your dog's collar right. Too tight, the collar can cause choking, or skin irritation. Too loose, the dog may slip the collar or become caught on objects. A collar should fit snug, but you should be able to place two fingers under your dog's collar with ease. Follow our collar measuring guide to ensure you have the correct fit.

Collar Measuring Guide

Measuring your dog's neck

  1. Using a fabric tape measure, measure tightly around your dogs neck (A) where the collar will sit.

  2. To ensure a comfortable and safe fit, add 4cm to this measurement, or loosen the fabric tape measure until you can fit two flat fingers under the tape measure.

  3. This is the measurement you will give us when ordering.

  4. Measuring your dog's neck can be tricky, we advise to double check your measurement by measuring you dog's existing collar using the instruction below.

 Measuring your dog's existing collar

Alternatively, you can measure your dog's existing collar (providing it fits well).

As measuring a dog's neck directly can be tricky, this is the preferred method to get the best fit.
